Food Sensitivity Testing
The food that's fueling your inflammation might be the food you eat every day. Testing finds it.
Your Healthy Diet Might Be Making You Sick
You eat well. Maybe better than most people you know. But you're still bloated. Still foggy. Still dealing with skin issues or joint pain that won't resolve. You've tried cutting gluten, cutting dairy, going paleo -- and nothing consistently works.
Here's why: food sensitivities are delayed reactions. You eat eggs on Monday morning, and the bloating hits Tuesday afternoon. You eat almonds in your smoothie, and the headache shows up 48 hours later. The gap between cause and effect makes food sensitivities almost impossible to identify through elimination alone.
IgG food sensitivity testing gives you a clear, ranked list of which foods your immune system is reacting to. No guessing. No months of trial and error. Just data. Then we build an elimination plan, address the underlying gut issues driving the sensitivities, and get you back to eating without fear.
When "Healthy" Food Fights Back
Bloating After Meals
That puffy, uncomfortable feeling after eating -- even when you eat 'healthy.' You can't figure out which food is the trigger because it doesn't happen every time.
Skin Issues
Eczema, acne, rashes, or hives that don't respond to topical treatments. Your skin is often a mirror of what's happening in your gut.
Joint Pain & Inflammation
Achy joints that aren't from injury. Certain foods trigger an inflammatory response that deposits in joints and connective tissue.
Brain Fog & Fatigue
Feeling mentally sluggish after meals. Afternoon energy crashes. A fog that lifts some days and descends others -- and you can't pin down why.
Digestive Problems
Gas, cramping, diarrhea, constipation -- or all of the above cycling unpredictably. You've tried probiotics and fiber and nothing sticks.
Headaches & Migraines
Recurring headaches with no clear trigger. Food sensitivities are one of the most underdiagnosed drivers of chronic headaches.
How Food Sensitivity Testing Works
Blood Draw
A simple blood sample -- that's all we need. We test IgG reactions to 96 to 200+ foods depending on the panel. Results come back in about 2 weeks.
Results Review
We walk through your results together. You'll see exactly which foods are triggering your immune system, ranked from severe to mild. No guesswork.
Elimination Plan
We remove the high-reactivity foods for 60 to 90 days. This isn't permanent -- it's a reset. During this period, we also address the gut health issues that caused the sensitivities in the first place.
Reintroduction
After the gut heals, we strategically reintroduce foods one at a time. Many patients find they can eat previous trigger foods without symptoms. We monitor the process so nothing slips through.
Frequently Asked Questions
Food allergies are immediate IgE immune reactions -- think peanut allergy, throat swelling, anaphylaxis. They're fast, obvious, and potentially life-threatening. Food sensitivities are delayed IgG reactions. Symptoms show up hours or even days after eating the trigger food. That delay makes them nearly impossible to identify without testing.
A simple blood draw. We test IgG antibody reactions to a panel of common foods -- typically 96 to 200+ items including dairy, grains, eggs, nuts, fruits, vegetables, and more. Results come back in about 2 weeks.
Usually not. Most food sensitivities are driven by gut health issues -- specifically a condition called intestinal permeability, or leaky gut. When we heal the gut and remove the offending foods for a period (usually 60 to 90 days), many patients can reintroduce those foods without symptoms. The goal is healing, not permanent restriction.
Elimination diets depend on you correctly guessing which foods are the problem and noticing subtle symptoms days later. It's incredibly hard to do on your own. Testing takes the guesswork out. You get a clear list of what's triggering your immune system, ranked by severity.
Directly. A healthy gut lining acts as a selective barrier -- nutrients in, large particles out. When that barrier is compromised (leaky gut), undigested food particles enter the bloodstream. Your immune system sees them as invaders and creates antibodies against them. That's a food sensitivity. Fix the gut, and many sensitivities resolve.
